Primodan has developed a new patended system for dispensing and sterilizing lids in the filling machines.

Description of the system:

A reel of approximately 40-50.000 plastic lids is mounted in the filling machine. The lids are automatically fed to the lid- dispenser passing through a UV-C sterilizing unit on it's way. The sterilization by means of UV-C light is well documented and very effective. The method was described in the Middle East Food Magazine in the January/ February -2006 edition (to download the article click here). The lids are produced by Primodan and can be supplied as metalized or non metalized depending on the clients wishes and needs.

Stand alone units:

The Primoreels system can be adapted to any type and brand of filling machine.
The units are Taylor-made and have their own touch screen panels and controls making it independent units.
Depending on the filling machine being a linear or rotary type different units are designed. Some of the units we have delivered for both rotary and linear machines are shown below.
